LAIDBACK LUKE\'S 40TH BIRTHDAY BASH

Laidback Luke has long since been an integral part of the annual Amsterdam Dance Event, the unmissable date in the global electronic music calendar, which combines a club festival with a dance music industry conference. This year Luke will host his biggestADE bash yet: a very special invite-only party at AIR Amsterdam celebrating his 40th birthday —and 25 glorious years in the business. But there is more. This event is not only limited to Europe, Luke will also celebrate his four-decade existence on the other side of the ocean at Marquee NYC!
More details about the line-up and special guests will be forthcoming, but for now Tuesday 18 October at AIR is the date for your diary—which just happens to be the night before ADE opens officially.  Luke’s actual birthday is on Saturday 22 October, when he will be rocking the dancefloor at Marquee in New York. With two birthday parties in a week, he’s hoping to celebrate with as many fans and friends as possible.
Although both events are an invite-only affair, a few lucky fans will get the chance to be part of the celebrations by winning tickets online—so fans are advised to keep their eyes closely on Luke’s social media channels in the coming weeks.
The guestlist will be made up of these fortunate fans and a stellar cast of industry legends, friends and family who have helped to make Luke’s 25 years in the game such a huge success. Making sure no stone is left unturned has not been an easy task though, as Luke explains: “Compiling this guestlist was such a walk down memory lane for me. It’s been very nerve-wracking as I realise how many people have contributed to my career over the years and how long back these relationships go. I am so scared that I’m forgetting some people which would be awful!”
