About ‘Things Change’
Things Change is a collaboration between electronic producer Tom Budin and indie-pop producer Kopa. As the two both studied the same music course in Sydney, they naturally gravitated towards each other and decided to fuse their talents to create something organic and innovative. Things Change features a strong melodic hook and folk-acoustic guitars that appropriate an electronic sensibility.
Tom Budin: I remember meeting Kopa in class at university and starting a project with him for a uni assessment. He began showing me some of his projects and ideas, mentioning that he was trying to sharpen up his productions and get his content out to the world. From the moment I heard his music, I knew that he was an extremely talented artist and composer, so I decided to ask him to make a collaboration, and this was the amazing result!
I've wanted to make an emotional melodic house track like this for such a long time now and was finally able to with Lee's help - it was an absolute pleasure working on this track and I hope everyone loves this track as much as we do!
